SYNOPSIS
The film toggles between the year 2024 an 2054 in Cape Town South Africa. We are presented with two old ladies "Liv and Zea" In their younger years, whilst desperate for money to fund shopping sprees and a lifestyle they could not afford, they were recruited by an international spy organisation to carry out "hits" on people who were deemed to be undesirable by the agency. These adventures take them to some exotic locations.
BIO
Liv is a stereotypical dizzy blonde who is always getting herself in to trouble. Zea is a Russian immigrant with an unusual understanding of the English language who fled her native country to escape a war. On Arrival to South Africa, she met Liv and they became best friends. The backbone of the comedy is the relationship between Liv and Zea and the constant miss understandings of two women from very different cultures. Together, they fumble through the complexities of being hitmen and some how make it work. As old ladies, they decide to "tell all" to a local journalist. As the story unfolds we are taken back to when they were young, dangerous and living close to the edge, we learn how it all started.

The Cougar Diaries of Liv & Zea was originally written as a Television comedy series with a deep character bible and in-depth story line spanning three decades between the years 2024 an 2054. The characters are relatable to a wide international demographic between the ages of 15 - 99. The pilot film showcases snippets of this timeline and is easy but addictive watching and would suit all networks. Foreign Subtitled versions exist and dubbed copies are easily achieved due to the isolation of vocal audio channels / music and sound effect atmospheres.
